AUCMS Badminton Competition 2012

420358_352988188078063_184122271631323_1045876_592310429_nOn 10 March 2012, a badminton match was organized by AUCMS in Dewan Sukan Komuniti, Pinang Tunggal. This competition was launched by Prof. Madya Dr. Badrul Akmal Hisham Md. Yusoff, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Student Affairs/Dean MD USU. Eight teams from various faculty and schools are competing for the championship title.

Tension started building as soon as the game got underway. Our shuttlers have overcome all odds and secure their victory. Each team has given their best in winning this game. It was an outstanding match where each team played very well above their expected standard.

Fantastic team effort and sportsmanship spirit was well practiced by all participants. Due to this excellent sportsmanship attitude, it is agreed that this competition has accomplished its objective in embracing students and participants with the meaning of teamwork and committed in succeeding their goals.

AUCMS is proud to be able to organize this competition and hope the students will continue to live a well balanced life and excel not only in their academics but in sports as well. Let’s hope for more sports games to be held in the future!

New jersey for AUCMS fooball team.

421507_329445230432359_184122271631323_988806_991921216_nThe Allianze University College of Medical Sciences Football Team has been actively engaged in various matches over a year ago.  With the unfolding of the New Year, the management feels that they need a boost in their spirit to propel them further and face their upcoming matches. An induction ceremony was organized at Studio B, Waziria Medical Square, Kepala Batas where the senior Penang Football team, AUCMS Football team and the management met in a high spirit atmosphere.

Dato 'Dr Zainuddin bin Md. Wazir as a President of AUCMS was present at this ceremony to give words of encouragement to all players, team officials and all involved for the development of a team. The Penang Football team was also present in this ceremony to support the junior players. The strong spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship that was displayed by the senior team is exemplary for the junior team to emulate.

In conjunction with this ceremony, the AUCMS team was presented with the new official team jersey. It is hoped that with the new look and inspiring speeches from the President of AUCMS, the team would take on new challenges with a stride and bring the football team to greater heights in 2012.

Perlawanan persahabatan di antara PENANG-AUCMS & Perlis

402369_2800853111202_1554807602_2808245_316675872_n_copyPerlawanan persahabatan di antara PENANG-AUCMS dan  Perlis telah berlangsung di Stadium Mini Bertam, Kepala Batas, Pulau Pinang pada 20 Disember 2011 (Selasa). Tujuan perlawanan ini diadakan adalah sebagai acara memanaskan badan serta memperkenalkan para pemain dari skuad bolasepak yang bakal mewakili Pulau Pinang dalam Liga FAM 2012. Ini juga adalah bagi menarik minat penonton untuk turun ke stadium bagi menyokong pasukan negeri Pulau Pinang.

Seramai 18 orang pemain telah diberi peluang turun bermain pada perlawanan ini bagi memberikan saingan kepada pasukan Perlis yang juga bertanding dalam Liga Super. Ini juga merupakan perlawanan pertama yang dikendalikan oleh jurulatih dari Hungary, Janos Krecska dengan berkesudahan kedua-dua pasukan seri 1-1.

Diharap dengan perlawanan persahabatan ini dapat memperkuatkan lagi skuad PENANG-AUCMS dalam menempuhi kejohanan sebenar pada tahun hadapan iaitu Liga FAM 2012.

Football Friendly Match between Kedah and Penang-AUCMS.

390272_2842332068150_1554807602_2830704_1877831976_nA friendly match between Kedah and Penang - AUCMS was held on Friday at Stadium Darul Aman, Alor Setar, Kedah. The purpose of this match is to further strengthen the skills and stamina of the players as they will be facing the FAM League 2012 which is expected to begin in January.

The friendly match provides golden opportunity for AUCMS sports science and physiotherapy team to study the best approach to treat and plan sport-specific exercise programs for the players. These activities are planned with the target to enhance players muscle balance, physical fitness and strength.

Despite the defeat with a 0-4 result, team-AUMCS Penang manage to face put a fierce fight to strong attack from such a seasoned team.

AUCMS taja skuad Pulau Pinang RM3j untuk dua tahun

DSC_0064-64Pasukan Pulau Pinang, yang tercorot dalam Liga Perdana musim ini, akan diurus oleh institusi pendidikan perubatan terkemuka, Allianze University College of Medical Sciences (AUCMS), dengan tajaan RM1.5 juta setahun mulai musim depan.

Presiden AUCMS, Datuk Dr Zainuddin Wazir berkata, tempoh tajaan itu adalah selama dua tahun dengan pasukan negeri itu kini dikenali sebagai Pulau Pinang-AUCMS.

Pasukan Pulau Pinang yang hanya menang satu daripada 22 perlawanan dalam Liga Perdana musim ini kini dipajakkan oleh Persatuan Bolasepak Pulau Pinang (FAP) kepada AUCMS.

"Kami akan menguruskan pasukan sepenuhnya, manakala isu berkaitan perkara-perkara dasar akan diuruskan oleh FAP,” katanya kepada pemberita selepas menandatangani Memorandum Persefahaman (MoU) antara AUCMS dan FAP, di sini hari ini.

AUCMS diwakili Dekan Fakulti Sains Sukan, Dr Hamdan Mohd Ali, yang juga pengurus pasukan, manakala FAP diwakili Setiausaha Kehormatnya Datuk Mohd Ridzwan Bakar.

Dr Zainuddin berkata, selain wang, pihaknya turut menaja pegawai perubatan, ahli fisioterapi, klinik perubatan dan ahli fisio sendiri serta pentadbir yang berpengalaman untuk mengurus pasukan itu.
