Allianze University College of Medical Sciences (AUCMS) is located in Kepala Batas. It is a town in Seberang Perai Utara district at the northern part of Penang. The state is geographically divided into two sections: Penang Island (Pulau Pinang in Malay): an island of 293 square kilometers located in the Straits of Malacca; and Province Wellesley (also known as Seberang Perai in Malay): a narrow hinterland of 753 square kilometers on the peninsula across from Penang Island.

It is bordered by Kedah in the east and north (demarcated by the Muda River), and by Perak in the south.  Kepala Batas makes such a wonderful place to live with Muda River on the north, a few beaches such as Pantai Merdeka and Pantai Bersih on the west as well as hills and forest such as Bukit Hijau and Baling on the east.

Everyone in AUCMS could possibly find somewhere to go to over the weekends all year long. Whether they like to walk along the trail at Pantai Kamloon near Muda River, camping near a waterfall in Bukit Hijau or shopping at Penang Island, they will find it all within short distance from Kepala Batas. Thus, makes Kepala Batas a piece of heaven on earth for us at AUCMS.
